In March 2011, Aprovecho Research Center conducted a PCIA-sponsored Workshop on Stove Design and Performance Testing in Laos giving workshop participants the opportunity to learn how to improve cooking technology and how to test, evaluate and improve stove models.

Harmonized Health and Exposure Protocols Workshop - Rome, Italy
The Italian Ministry for the Environment and Territory hosted a Harmonized Health and Exposure Protocols Workshop, co-organized with the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air. The Workshop was held on 8 - 10 March 2004. The objective of the Workshop was to design uniformed health effects and exposure assessment protocols which will have application in a wide variety of settings. Outputs of the Workshop, once finalized, will be posted in the PCIA Resources page.
Design and Performance Guidelines Workshop - Seattle, Washington
The EPA conducted a Design and Performance Guidelines Workshop sponsored by the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air and Engineers in Technical, Humanitarian Opportunities of Service-learning (ETHOS). The goal was to establish broad design and performance principles for home cooking and heating practices that can be used by a wide range of organizations throughout the world.
